Why the name MFortyFive?  We came up with the name after this realization: “Subaru” is the Japanese name for a constellation of six stars called “Pleiades”, which in different forms has made up Subaru’s corporate logo for decades. The Pleiades constellation is part of a list of comet-like stars made by astronomer Charles Messier in the 18th Century. All of the astrological items on Messier’s list are assigned and referred to as a specific number. Pleiades is known as Messier 45, or M45, and that’s the origin of our name and how it relates to the brand we love!

MFortyFive is a Subaru enthusiast brand/blog founded by three friends active in the car community who wanted to set a higher standard.  Our blog was started with the idea of bringing all kinds of Subaru event coverage, coverage of owners & their vehicles, and Subaru related videos together in one website. We figured that others wouldn’t create what we wanted, so we set out to do it ourselves!
