Hey guys! My name is Zach, and I own a Regal Blue Pearl, 2005 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS. I am currently a part-time college student and I’ve worked at a local bike shop part-time for about 5 years. I started running MFortyFive with two of my good friends, CJ and Ethan who also hired me over a year ago to help run production with their decal business, DNC Vinyls. Most don’t go too far in the rabbit hole with the GDB chassis RS’. I’m pumped to make this car something I’ve always visioned. At the moment, my favorite modifications would have to be my custom exhaust setup, or my Recaro Speed seats. I’m hoping to participate in some autocross events, open track days, shows, and of course, more opportunities to be up in the mountains where this car really shines. I really enjoy traveling up north to the mountains for some spirited driving and mountain biking – another passion of mine. I have other interests besides Subarus also, I’m a huge fan of the Toyota Tacoma and 4Runner’s. I’m always on craigslist looking for 4×4 Toyota’s that fit my budget so I can slowly start getting into an overland build so I can go anywhere I want, scout single track mountain bike trails, and see the beauty this world has to offer. I will probably wait on that dream for a little. I get asked all the time if I plan on going with a boost set up but to be honest I really don’t. I really enjoy the naturally-aspirated style of being minimal and simple. MFortyFive is an outlet for me to share my journey, along with things I have learned and experienced along side my friends.
